If I had a tick on me, and when we tried to get it out, we left the head behind, do I go to the ER or just call the doctor tomorrow??

Hypothetically speaking, of course...

  Probably call the doctor tomorrow first thing.
  Ideally you would get the head out with a sterilized needle or something. Failing that, keep the area disinfected until you can get a doctor to do it. He'll have you watch for symptoms of Lyme disease (bullseye rash, fever, stiffness) - if any develop, you'll probably get put on antibiotics for a few weeks. (Yep, it's bacterial and apparently easily treated when caught early.)
